Hi, I’m Dayanita!

I’m an artist, illustrator and painter based in Pasadena. I like to work traditionally with acrylic paint and inks; I also work digitally. My work focuses on representational natural forms and my style blends strong line work, keen attention to color, impressionism and whimsical, playful elements.

I love art history, museums, old dogs and tennis. I’m married, have a baby son and a senior chihuahua.

I’ve worked on picture books, murals, editorial and commercial illustrations, social media content and many other projects. I’m always working on art and want to work with you on something cool.
